Nepal: With a consistently high ranking in the rankings mikandi, the country has high hopes of reaching the T20 World Cup. The UAE also have a strong squad despite losing half their first-choice XI to fix allegations. The UAE team also boasts three players from the Under 19 World Cup.
South Africa: South Africa are currently in 11th place in the points table. The top seven teams in the table are guaranteed places at the tournament. They only need to win three out of their remaining five games to get there streetlife. Ireland and Sri Lanka are close behind but have tough assignments ahead. They have three games against New Zealand and Afghanistan.
