However, the decline of these positions is largely attributed to the decline in the apparel manufacturing industry, which will decrease by over fifty percent over the same period. The good news is that there will be a slight growth in employment in this field, which would be similar to the national average.
As a result, many of these designers are self-taught, working in cluttered, noisy settings.
